ADVOCATE: Women In Film & TV Ohio is part of a national organization leading the charge to achieve gender equality in film, TV and digital media in order to create MORE opportunities for women.
CONNECT: All our members have access to programs, events and discounts that are
exclusive to WIFTOH members.
GIVE: Our programs will make a difference in women’s lives. Our national chapter has created multiple programs that have provided grants to assist recipients with film finishing funds. This is something that the WIFTOH chapter looks forward to establishing and funding these and other types of grants to our members in the near future. It is a part of our mission and dedication to see more films directed, produced, crewed by women make it to main stream.
TEACH: While WIFTOH is still an emerging, we will be offering our members exclusive workshops put on by individuals that have the same love and dedication to the film and TV industry but also share the same desire to see more women be propelled to success. Members will have the option to be teamed up and work with a mentor that will assist in honing their creative skills and elevate their level of production expertise.
INFORM: WIFTOH members will be treated to a variety of speakers discussing a varying range of topics such as: navigating film festivals, the perfect pitch and editing just to name a few.
